Description
In this first outline of Nova Europa, Masaryk presents his introduction with a topical outline handwritten in Czech, accompanied by an index of subjects, namely nations. This was written as Masaryk was riding the Trans-Siberian railway across Russia in 1917, in order to sail across the Pacific, land in America, and from there travel to London. Partly in Czech, partly in English, this document gives the reader a more intimate view of Masaryk's thoughts. The English language notes contain subjects and associated words and definitions, allowing us to understand Masaryk's priorities and lines of thought.
